Three cards celebrating a beautiful stretch of London's great rier ... 'Thames riverside', 'Swans on the Thames' and 'Boating on the Thames'.
These are details of a large linocut inspired by the Arcadian Thames. Since the 18th century London's Arcadia – a historic landscape of parks, palaces, meadows and woodland that frames the meandering river at Richmond upon Thames – has been an inspiration for poets, artists and composers.
These cards were originally designed for the Conchord Festival, an international festival of chamber music by the London Conchord Ensemble.
These cards are also available singly.
All my cards are designed by me in my studio and printed for me by a local small print business which is based in a nearby village.
Scanned from an original linocut print. Each card measures 5.75 x 5.75 inches. Printed on white card. With a kraft paper envelope.
